Opportunities for Ministry & Growth
We seek to live out our Christian Faith in all that we say and all that we do. Throughout the year we have various events, ministries, and bible studies.
Methodist Men Prayer Breakfast – Held the first Sunday of month at 7:00 AM. The entire community is invited to come and be a part of this fellowship opportunity.
Methodist Women – Our Methodist Women’s Unit is very active in mission outreach. Their big fund raiser is the Annual Turkey Dinner the first Saturday in November
Pastor’s Bible Study – During Lent and Advent, Pastor Leah offers a study to help prepare our hearts for the season.
Lord’s Acre – An annual fundraiser for the church that dates back to the 1950s. A great celebration of our heritage, wonderful merchandise, and great food are all available the first weekend of October.
Children and Youth Choirs/Liturgical Dance - Children and Youth both learn best by doing. Under the direction of Jessica Steele, Children K-12th grades come together to praise God through lifting their voices, ringing bells and liturgical dance. Christ is at the center of every rehearsal and every performance, teaching children reverence and joy for the Lord. **In April 2008 a memorial fund was put in place in honor of Pastor Leah’s grandmother—Nadine Hidde. Mrs. Hidde was a choir director for many years and loved to see arts in worship. She would be very honored to have such a program started in her name.
